Co-op heads to Colliers Wood
Food retailer Co-op is on course to open a store next at Colliers Wood underground station on 1 March, as part of a £28 million London-wide scheme to increase its focus on fresh healthy foods, meal ideas and essentials.
The rollout includes 30 new food stores and refitting seven from its current properties in the capital.
Peter Batt, Co-op's divisional managing director, said: "It's an incredibly exciting time for the Co-op in London as we gear up to launch and refit a record number of stores across the capital.
"Our new store launches and refits, together with our ever growing range of locally-sourced produce and increasing member numbers put us in a strong position for the future as we look towards further expansion in 2019 and beyond."
The Colliers Wood station store is part of the first-phase roll-out, which also includes shops in Walthamstow, Cricklewood, Colindale Station and Paddington.
